We collect data to provide the best possible gaming experience. The legal basis for processing this data is the execution of the contract (Terms of Service) to provide the game services and our legitimate interest in improving our products.

  • Game Data: Progress, scores, maps and games played, inventory, and unlocked items.

  • User Data (Persistence): Save games, profiles, and leaderboards are stored on our secure servers located in the European Union, ensuring full compliance with European data protection standards.
  • Multiplayer Sessions: To enable real-time multiplayer functionality, we utilize Photon Engine (Exit Games). The multiplayer game servers are located in the USA.
4. Third-Party Services and International Transfers

To provide the Service, we work with trusted third-party partners. Some of these partners may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

    • Meta (Oculus): We use Meta Platform services for authentication and entitlements. Please review Meta’s Data Policy.
    • Steam (Valve Corp): We use Steamworks for authentication and achievements. Please review Valve’s Privacy Policy.
  • Multiplayer Infrastructure:
    • Photon Engine (Exit Games Inc.): Used for multiplayer connectivity. As their servers are located in the USA, this involves an international data transfer. We ensure this transfer is protected under appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adherence to the Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Game service or as required by law.

  • Deletion Request: Users have the right to request the deletion of all their data at any moment. Send your request to info@virtualage.com, and we will remove your data from our servers within 48 hours.

Additionally, data will be deleted when:

  1. It is no longer necessary for the service.
  2. The user deletes their account.
  3. Required by law or platform regulation.
