Version 1.1.0 (Feb 14, 2025)

Version 1.1.0 is now live and comes with lots of improvements!

New Stuff
  • New biome for Raids: The Underground. Descend into the palace’s undercroft and uncover the secrets hidden within.
  • Achievements: We have introduced a new system with over 60 challenges to unlock throughout the game! In the Sanctuary, a mural showcases all your achievements. Who will be the first to complete them all?
  • Complete redesign of the first Boss combat: Without giving any spoilers, the new combat will require you to use all the powers of the Wind Stone to defeat the captain!
  • New enemy: Abyssal Tiger. A powerful feline from the deepest hells. Be careful, because when it gets angry it’s bites and claws are lethal!
  • Voice over updates: Re-recorded Captain voice-over.
  • Separated Parkour and Combat Difficulty: Are you great at combat but keep falling every time you have to jump? Or maybe you’re a true wall-runner, but fights feel like a struggle? Now, parkour and combat have separate difficulty settings, so you can tailor your gameplay experience to what suits you best.
  • New Parkour Assistance System: On the easiest parkour difficulty, you’ll get some help in the trickiest sections, courtesy of good old Alshain. As he likes to say: Even the strongest wings need a breeze to lift them.
  • Combined use of the Wind and the Water Stone: From now on, if you point the Hook at the water and you have the Water Stone in your possession, it will freeze without having to change stones. This will make parkour much more agile in areas with a lot of water.
Improvements
  • Weak Points: To reward skilled combat, landing a strong parry on an enemy will reveal some of their weak points. That’s your cue to strike!
  • Belt disabled while climbing: This will prevent you from accidentally grabbing a weapon. This option already existed, but now it will be selected by default. You can always deactivate it in the Settings panel.
  • Hydra Minor Combat Tweaks: We’ve fixed clipping issues and reduced its life bar on Easy difficulty.
  • More Attack Animations: We’ve added more variety to enemy attack animations, new ways to cut you down, crush you, and murder you. So every death feels like a fresh experience.
  • End-of-Level Summary: At the end of each level, you’ll easily see how much experience and gold you’ve earned, how many collectibles you’ve found, and how many prisoners you’ve freed.
  • Early Raid Activation: From now on, you can start enjoying Raids as soon as you obtain the Wind Stone, at least in the Palace biome. For the Underworld biome, you’ll need the Water Stone.
  • More Alshain: We know the hero’s journey can be lonely, and this talking falcon makes great company. So we’ve added more interactions from our feathered friend to help motivate you on this grand adventure.
  • Lots of Coins: We’ve added more loot and gold. Plus, you’ll now find generous piles of coins that will fly straight into your hand with just a gesture.
  • Better Environments: Some areas, especially in the later levels, felt a bit bare in terms of decoration. We’ve stepped up and made everything look stunning. Well, as stunning as a terrifying dungeon full of things trying to kill you can be.
  • Shield : Reduced the opacity of the Protective Shield effect to improve visibility.
  • Mission Objectives: We have added more mission objectives to help guide your course during the Campaign.
  • Redesign of climbable flags: Climbable flags are now blue to clearly differentiate them from the slide flags, which remain red.
Fixes
  • Fixed some Raid rooms where progression was difficult.
  • Resolved collision issues in certain Raid rooms.
  • Adjusted skeletons so they no longer breakdance upon death.
  • Fixed Freeze ability usage while the menu is open.
  • Fixed an issue with the holster when throwing the sword.
  • Refined and fixed the auto-aim system for the dagger.
  • Fixed a soft-lock issue when dying in the final battle.
  • Enemies no longer dodge while attacking.
  • Fixed some lighting and shadow problems in the scenarios.
  • Adjust the Keep puzzle so you can’t skip it.
  • Fixed that when you die while the Captain is talking, the conversation restarts but the combat continues.
  • Adjusted the combat at the end of the Roof so that there are not so many simultaneous enemies.
  • Fixed some jumps in Raids that teleported you to the checkpoint.
  • Fixed multiple cries of pain when burning an enemy.
  • Fixed when the enemy tries to attack you while your back is turned.
  • Fixed some minor errors in the translation.
  • Fixed height calibration issues
  • Now if you move far enough away from enemies, the combat music stops playing.
  • Fixed the rare case where a coin floats when trying to pick it up.
  • Fixed enemies standing still without attacking.

Version 1.0.6 (Des 13, 2024)

New Stuff
  • New closet for collectibles: The new storage area will also show the slots of the missing collectibles and where to find them in the game.
  • Voice over updates:
  • Re-recorded Kasim voice-over with a new actor.
  • Re-recorded Arya voice-over with a new actress.
  • Re-recorded Hydra voice-over with a new actress.
  • Re-recorded the Prisoners voice-over with new actors.
  • New cloud save system: The cloud save and restore system is now fully functional.
Improvements
  • Improved tooltips: They will help you with some mechanics like swimming or using the bow.
  • Better haptic feedback: To improve the feeling when performing some actions, such as storing your weapon on your belt.
  • Volumes and spatialization: We have adjusted the volumes of the voices and added spatialization to all of them, to improve immersion.
  • Belt disabled while swimming: This will prevent you from accidentally grabbing a weapon.
  • Faster fade to black: We’ve reduced the death screen time, so you can get back into the action quickly!
  • Faster reward: Enemies drop their coins right after they die, instead of after the corpse disappears.
  • Enemies spawn position: Whenever possible, enemies will appear at farther points.
  • The Courtyard lever: We have put it in a more visible place.
  • Wall run jump code: It’s now more reliable and easy to jump from one plank to the opposed one.
Raids
  • Added new corridors with new traps and breakable walls! We are working on more sections and the new sewers raid, stay tuned!
  • When you reach the Raid end screen, the fights end and the enemies will now disappear.
  • Fixed some Raids causing you to respawn below the ground.
  • Fixed Raid score panel not updating sometimes.
  • Fixed various floor clipping cases.
  • Added more slide down banners.
  • Added a way to get out of the pools.
Fixes
  • Fixed Pyromaniacs’ Active Ragdoll doing weird movements sometimes
  • Fixed the context menu that failed when entering through Chapter Select.
  • Fixed not being able to grab the hookah sometimes
  • Fixed being able to distance grab the hookah from too far away creating unstable movements.
  • Fixed missing translations in some texts in the main menu.
  • Fixed beheading the archer would change their appearance.

    • Customizable holsters: Added a new belt and inventory position configuration system. You can now grab and move your holsters to place them wherever feels most comfortable!
    • New holster settings: Added an option to disable holsters while climbing or swimming.

  • Beheading is now harder: Made it harder to behead enemies; now requires a horizontal cut with more force.
  • Bomb timing: Reduced bomb fuse time by 50%.
  • Fall damage: Reduced fall damage by 50%.
  • Climbing enhancements: Players can now clip poles for a smoother climbing experience.
  • Valve interaction: Improved valve rotation to feel more natural.
  • Height settings: Reduced maximum height offset values from 100 to 50.
Parkour improvements
  • Fixed an issue where slow motion wouldn’t trigger during jumps.
  • Improved the accuracy of hook jumps for horizontal and long jumps.
  • Enlarged the head aim detection area for better responsiveness.
Raids
  • Exploration Mode: Now guarantees at least 2 or 3 chests spawn in different rooms.
  • Fixed chests that were previously impossible to open.
  • Fixed climbing elements that occasionally couldn’t be grabbed in hard difficulty.
  • Fixed some pits where the player would fall and not die
  • Flags will automatically regenerate after a few seconds
Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where enemies were pushed away with the sword while in guard position.
  • Fixed the initial door in The Roof that sometimes teleported players out of the world.
  • Fixed a respawning issue after dying against the First Boss when loading from the last checkpoint.
  • Fixed extra agility upgrades not granting additional dashes.
  • Fixed arrows being stored incorrectly as valid weapons in the loadout.
  • Fixed a ground collider in the Palace that could trap players.
  • Fixed the Arya rescue sequence where players could backtrack to the door, causing unintended behavior.
  • Fixed an issue preventing coin collection with hands.
  • Fixed a bug where dismembering an enemy’s right hand left their sword stuck in place.
  • Fixed a visual glitch allowing players to see out of the world at the base of the waterfall in the Courtyard.
  • Fixed clipping issues in the Sanctuary.
  • Fixed dagger throw assist targeting helmets instead of unprotected areas.

Improvements
  • Increased the grab detection distance by 25%.
  • Reduced the inventory-open detection radius, minimizing false positives while climbing.
  • Introduced a cloud progress restore system. You can now restore your game progress by going to Settings > Game > Restore Progress.
  • Added particle effects to the lever in The Keep puzzle.
  • Temporarily removed the initial backstory as we work on new voice recordings.
  • Temporarily removed the prisoners from The Palace, The Keep, and The Courtyard while we prepare new voiceovers.
  • Relocated the shield in Ramparts to a position after climbing the ladder.
  • Added option to store the shields on the belt. 
Fixes
  • Resolved an issue where the quiver occasionally failed to provide arrows.
  • Addressed a bug allowing players to clip into walls while climbing. While still under refinement, this fix significantly improves functionality.
  • Fixed a bug that let players clip through a wall in Ramparts by walking into it.
  • Corrected the hook glitch when storing items that require triggers to activate, such as potions or bombs.
  • Fixed a problem with the hook not functioning properly when jumping straight up.
  • Resolved an issue causing hands to get stuck on columns while using the trigger to slide down.
  • Fixed a bug where the Shadow Sultan would be invulnerable a few seconds after pushing the player away.

Version 1.0.3 (Nov, 20 2024)

Improvements
  • Improved loading times when reopening the game.
  • Enhanced player recentering for users with large guardian boundaries.
  • Disabled teleportation locomotion due to stability issues.
  • Added an option to choose your preferred body representation: arms or hands only.
  • Inventory now closes automatically after being left open for a few seconds.
  • Enhanced the first boss’s combat abilities: it now throws energy blasts much faster, and if you get too close, it will unleash an energy wave to push you back.
  • Improved the Active Ragdoll mechanics for female archers.
  • Expanded and refined the area for grabbing arrows from your back.
Fixes
  • Fixed wall colliders that previously allowed players to exit the map under certain circumstances.

New Stuff
  • Added cloud save and cloud restore. The game will now automatically send your progress to our back end server. To recover it in case you run into any issues you can go to Settings > Game > Restore Progress.
The Raids
  • Fixed the chests not giving scrolls.
Improvements
  • Improved all box puzzles: Boxes are now much easier to manipulate. 
  • Removed the door spikes from The Keep
  • Reduced the damage speed of the poisonous gas so the player has time to figure out what to do. 
  • Added tip on the box puzzle in Courtyard 
  • Improved the The Keep puzzle, now the player won’t be able to skip it with the hook and made the falcon tip more clear. 
Fixes
  • Fixed progress lost if the player saved any settings when first starting the game.
  • Fixed a clipping issues in multiple levels
  • Fixed the hook origin being broken after storing something in the inventory. 
  • Fixed water not coming out of the fountains puzzle in baths01 sometimes

  • Fixed soft lock in Gardens1 after solving the puzzle. 
  • Fixed the game not recentering the player when dying or respawning, potentially creating clipping issues. 
  • Fixed the archer in The Palace spawning too late
  • Fixed unlockable bows not available in the loadout menu
  • Fixed the hands of the boatman so he correctly grab the pole.

  • Fixed Arya’s script when inside the cell
  • Fixed the possibility to skip a large part of Gardens 3 using the hook

Version 1.0.1b3 (Nov, 15 2024)

The Raids 
  • The raids now have two modes: Explore Mode and Speed Mode
    • Explore Mode features locked rooms for combat and treasure chests with unique items to unlock.
      Speed Mode has no locked rooms, a wrist timer, and no chests. Compete for the highest spot in the leaderboards!
    • This is just the first iteration, but it sets the stage for more exciting updates to come! 🙂

The Raids
  • The raids will now consistently feature the same room closures and combat activations. Previously, there was variability, where some rooms would close and initiate combat while others would not.
  • Fixed multiple issues in the raids like floating in water or being able to clip walls and floors.

  • Fixed multiple instances of unlocalized text. 
  • Fixed quick respawn and the death screen firing at the same time sometimes.
  • Fixed Arya showing up too dark in the final level. 
  • Fixed being able to walk in the air in a particular point of the Temple. 
  • Fixed puzzle boxes not being restored to the play area if they got OOW.
  • Fixed skeleton archers not reacting to hits when storing the bow.
