THE GAME
Guardians Planetfall is set in a brutal war for the fate of humanity. Players form squads of up to 4 soldiers and fight in fast, tactical VR combat across dangerous planets, orbital battlefields and space installations filled with hostile aliens, soldiers, and massive war machines.
From the bridge of a customizable strike ship, squads choose where to make planetfall next, dropping into deserts, jungles, frozen outposts, and lava scarred strongholds as the war shifts across the star system. Every successful extraction shifts planetary influence in humanity’s favor, bringing the galaxy one step closer to survival or defeat.

What platforms will Guardians Planetfall be available on?
Guardians Planetfall will be available on the Meta Store and Steam.
Is there a campaign in Guardians Planetfall?
There is no traditional single-player campaign, but you will be able to fight in the Galactic War against the Void Empire and the Bug menace through missions on both procedurally generated and community-created maps.
Is there an official release date?
Not yet. The game will first launch in Early Access in 2026 so we can iterate based on player feedback.
How much does the game cost and where can I buy it?
The price is not yet confirmed.
What languages will the game support?
Early Access will only be available in English, and the final release will include Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and German subtitles at launch.
Are there any plans for a PSVR2 version?
PSVR2 is not decided yet. We’ll look into it after release depending on how the game performs and what’s technically possible.
Can the game be played seated and standing?
Yes, the game can be played both seated and standing.
Are there any tools to reduce VR motion sickness while playing Guardians Planetfall?
Yes. The game includes tunneling for comfort, but it does not support teleport movement.
What’s the difference between Guardians Frontline and Guardians Planetfall?
Guardians Frontline is a fast-paced arcade shooter focused on short, action-packed missions where you jump in, fight, and jump out. It mixes FPS and RTS elements, but the scope is mission-based.
Guardians Planetfall expands the universe into a tactical, operation-based experience. You’ll craft gear, upgrade your ship, and fight across a persistent Galaxy Conquest, unlocking new sectors and completing varied objectives on procedurally generated maps. With two enemy factions and both space and planetary operations, the Guardians act as an elite force operating behind enemy lines in a continuous war effort.
The map editor expands on the tactical, operation-based experience, letting mapmakers freely add primary and secondary objectives to fully shape missions to their vision.
Will Guardians Frontline be discontinued?
No. Guardians Frontline will continue to receive updates. They are different games within the same universe.
Will the Galaxy Conquest be shared?
No, it will not.
Will there be a map editor?
Yes, but the map editor will be included with the full release.
Will it be compatible with Meta Quest 2?
No, unfortunately the Quest 2 hardware is not capable of supporting the graphics and effects that the game requires.
Is there cross-play between Steam and Meta?
Yes, players on Steam and Meta will be able to play together.
Is there cross-buy between Steam and Meta?
No, there will not be cross-buy between Steam and Meta.
Does Guardians Planetfall require an internet connection?
Yes, an internet connection is required to play Guardians Planetfall. There is no single-player campaign.
Can I play solo?

No. They are separate games with independent progression systems.
